Worked across agentic commerce and growth initiatives, helping develop Etsy's native ChatGPT app, connect catalog data to AI agents, and improve buyer-facing web experiences through experimentation.

Highlights
  • Led development of Etsy's native app in ChatGPT, launched in beta in May 2026, integrating OpenAI's LLM agent with Etsy's back-end APIs so shoppers can tag @Etsy in a prompt to search and compare 100M+ listings.
  • Lifted gross merchandise sales (GMS) by a median of 30% in experiment cohorts versus baseline by designing, running and analyzing end-to-end A/B experiments that moved web visitors into the Etsy app (app-download banners, toasts, coupon prompts) (TypeScript, React, PHP).
  • Built listing and seller data feeds and new external public APIs with Etsy's API platform teams so OpenAI and Google agents could ingest the catalog (TypeScript, Python, PHP).
  • Represented Etsy engineering in agentic-commerce partnerships with Google, OpenAI, Anthropic and Apple, including Chrome's WebMCP early-preview testing with Google; prototyped a Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration for a partner assistant and led the Apple workstream.
